Explore 380 years of Finnish Postal Museum
To celebrate the 380 year anniversary, Finnish Postal Museum had a vision to present their history through stories accompanied by historical images. The goal of the project was to tell stories in an interactive and visual way, allowing visitors to explore and immerse.
In the collection of different pieces of stories, the client initially drafted five chapters to structure them — five storylines that narrates past, present and the future prospective of each. After analysing their content in depth, we noticed recurring themes and an opportunity to group them separately to offer another type of experience. While the main storyline with chapters was linear and guided, themes allow visitors to explore and discover the stories on their own.
Visual languages developed inspired by perforation lines in the postal stamps and the stamps.
